I'm Melisa, and I've been scared my whole life. When I ended up in the shelter, I didn't even leave my doghouse. I waited like that, huddled in a corner, for two years. Finally, I got to a foster home. Now, I'm waiting for people to adopt me. I'm still very shy, but I'm learning to enjoy life. I dream of a peaceful home with a garden.
